If you have a Palm Treo device with a data plan or access you can connect it to your computer and use it as a modem. All you need is to buy PdaNet software for your model. I have used this before and it works very well.

Treo Bits is a useful site with information on accessories and software for the Treo and Palm platform. There is also a version formatted for mobile use.
This free service will convert audio files to mobile phone ringtones. I tried it once for the Treo 680, but it doesn’t have native ringtone support. Give it a try and let me know if this works for you or not.
